About Me

Cindy To is a children's book illustrator and teaching artist from Iowa, but is currently pursuing her education at the Minneapolis College of Art in Design.Cindy mainly creates her artwork digitally in Photoshop and sometimes traditionally with watercolor. She specializes in picture book covers, interior spreads, backgrounds, and character design. Cindy is interested in illustrating stories that celebrate culture, diversity, creativity, nature, and togetherness.Cindy also has a passion for teaching kids. Kids are a huge inspiration for her because they remind her that it's okay to be silly and have fun. She finds importance in connecting with her community and helping others express themselves freely and creatively.
